What we collect and why

When you contact us by phone, Facebook or email, we use your name and contact details to reply to you.

When you book a visit, we keep your name, contact details, the number of adults and children in your group, children’s ages and your agreement to our house rules and disclaimer. We use this to manage your booking and to keep the café safe for guests and cats.

When you pay, card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records and signed disclaimers for up to 6 years, in case of an insurance claim and for our accounts. Messages are deleted when they’re no longer needed.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that run our booking system, card payments and website, and only so they can provide those services. We never sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don’t need to keep it. Contact us using the details above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
